چکیده
Abstract In this article the authors identify and analyse points of agreement disagreement between Michael Ayers Charles Travis, starting from their views on ‘things before us’. The then try to spell out what separates these philosophers in matters concerning perception, knowledge language. spite both being self-professed realists, equally critical conceptualism representationalism, Ayers’ empiricism Travis’ anti-empiricism lead them different positions three areas. It is shown that case they hinge “ordinary” objects a KK principle (knowledge how we know), whereas Travis are articulated around occasion-sensitivity anti-psychologism.
